The hull is designed to trap a cusion of air between the keel and the chines on either side at the stern. As speeds increase, the cusion of air actually lifts the boat mostly out of the water, which increases efficiency and reduces drag. Even at high speeds, the chines still extend into the water, acting as guide rails that will not allow the stern to wander.
When turning, the chines on the Wide-Track "V" claw into the water, holding the curve very tightly. The boat responds to the driver's every command, making fast, flat, smooth high-speed turns with almost no banking, and with total control.
The performance of this hull is literally so amazing, you simply have to experience it to believe it. That's why it was awarded a patent, and that's why we proudly say that the Wide-Track "V" is the best performing hull in the world.
But don't just take our word for it. See this amazing hull accelerate, plane out, and turn 180 degrees, all inside a regulation-sized swimming pool!
